HK Bridge is an inclusive, curriculum-based school designed for students who face challenges in traditional classrooms. Unlike special schools that (often focus on severe disabilities), we cater to learners who need extra support to reach their potential. Guided by a constructive approach, we focus on hands-on learning and real-world experiences. With personalized learning groups, specialized teaching methods, pre-vocational training, and integrated therapy, we ensure every student receives the support they need to grow, succeed, and thrive.
We follow the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) curriculum from India. NIOS is a national board equivalent to CBSE/ISC and is recognized internationally. It focuses on both academic learning and practical skills, allowing your child to learn at their own pace, choose subjects that interest them, and appear for board exams multiple times a year. Graduates receive the same 10th/12th certificates as mainstream students, accepted by universities and employers worldwide.
Many Bridge students do reintegrate into mainstream schooling when they’re ready. Because we build a solid academic foundation and self-confidence, children often catch up to grade level. Our educators also collaborate with families and prospective schools to plan a smooth transition that aligns with your child’s goals.
Every students receive an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) with clear goals and regular progress checks. Our teachers use multi-sensory, hands-on methods tailored to each child’s learning style. When needed, we provide on-campus support such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, or counseling. We also equip parents with strategies to reinforce learning at home, ensuring consistent growth and confidence.
Our classes are intentionally small, usually 1 teacher for 5–8 students, allowing personalized attention and close monitoring. Our teachers are specially trained in learning differences and often co-teach with specialists such as special educators or therapists. Every staff member shares HK Bridge’s commitment to compassion, expertise, and student success.
Students follow a structured timetable like other schools, covering core subjects, breaks, and enrichment periods. We also include social skills activities, life-skills workshops, and recreational breaks. Thanks to the flexibility of the NIOS curriculum, we can adjust the pace giving longer sessions for challenging subjects or more frequent review time so every child learns comfortably and effectively.
